Hopefully it's pretty self-explanatory. Requires a basic knowledge of GIMP tools, but I try to walk you through it so you can pretty much just download GIMP and give it a try (well, understand how to find things, and be familiar with the overall layout of the program!)
Honestly, it's really simple. I would LOVE it if you linked back here, but I would love it even more if you guys went out there and made tons of brush sets and texture sets!!
And yeah, I make my textures the same way, but with a 512 x512 image, and saved to the tex folders. But it's the same thing.
Anyway, my eyes hurt so I'm gonna go bury my face in a pillow. Enjoy!
Hi, I'm writing to let you know that I featured your tutorial in my Art Features journal [link] Please consider adding it to your favorites. Thank you for your time and the work you did in creating your Tutorial! ^o^
Is there anyway to reverse the process? Because in sai you have the watercolor tool, which I ADORE, but my Sai trial expired. So now I use Gimp, but I haven't found anything close to that brush . So I want to convert the sai brush to a gimp brush. Is there anyway to do that?
Hmmm, I think I missed up somewhere in the 4th and 5th step. I manage to get my texture into my brushtexture folder, but I can barely see it. Around the 4th step is there suppose to be 2 layers?
I am very thankful to you coz u full fill le wish thanks you very much !
xD lol
