Hellooo again! While I haven't been able to save GIMP brushes, I've been playing around with SAI and made some textures to share with you guys.

NOTES:
~these are PAPER textures, not brush textures. :) I've included a helpful image in case you're dumb like me

~I can't count. There are 8 textures in the pack. But the read me says 7. I guess you can consider it a bonus lol

~I've included the .sai image for the preview, so you can see the settings I used in each layer

USUAL STUFF:
This is the first SAI resource I've made, so I REALLY want your feedback! What can I improve, what you would like to see next time, what you liked, etc etc.

I wanna see stuff you've made with my textures! Show it off, and I'll take a look! It always makes me happy when artists way better than I am put my stuff to good use.

I think that's all for now. :D Hope you guys enjoy! Installation instruction are in the read me...Oh I guess I can reiterate them here.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Unzip the folder somewhere.
2. Copy the BMP files only and paste them in the \papertex folder in your SAI folders.
ex. C:\Program Files (x86)\PaintTool_SAI_English_ver.1.10\PaintTool_SAI_English_ver.1.10\PaintTool SAI English Pack\papertex

3. Go up one file level from where you pasted all the textures. This is where the .exe file should be. Among other things, there's also a file named papertex.conf. Go into my pack, and copy the version of that file that I've provided. Paste the one from my pack over the default (as in, replace the old one with the new one) :) Otherwise, SAI won't display any of the new textures as choices.

4. Restart SAI and start playing with your new paper textures!!!

EDIT: WOW! I'm excited so many people have taken a look at these textures! I've cleared up the install directions somewhat and will be getting to work on a second pack! :D Thank you all so much! :)

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE, PLEASE READ!!!:
Newer versions of SAI can add new textures automagically!! :D Just use the start-sai exe file to start the program, and you should see the new textures you've added without having to update the .conf file by hand! Cool! :airborne:

EDIT EDIT: Fixed to add Lace.bmp to the conf file

Just unzip and rename the file papertex.conf, and paste where it should be in the same folder with SAI.exe

Will try to get to your comments and try to help, but in the meantime, try resetting the papertex if you lost the original :)

Warning, start-sai.exe might not work in older versions of SAI!

Just a doubt, when I use the texture "Newsprint Medium" is there someway to leave the background white? I mean, when I select in black color the fill appears in gray. I just want black dots as texture :/
