'An Experiment'

"Zzzzzzzz..."
The sun had barely risen, and already the teacher had launched into a full recitation of the textbook.
"Blah, blah, blah," said he.
"Zzzzzzzzz...," said the student.
Words floated through the room like feathers on a breeze.
"Blah, blah, blah, blah, This is on the test, blah," said the teacher.
"Huh?" Says the student.
Alarm bells clang, neon signs flash brilliant colors, sirens wail. Suddenly, the student is the most attentive listener in class.
